Job Description

Position: Analysis Simulation Engineer--Energy Management

Department: R&D

Location: Beijing

Major Tasks:

  • Analysis:
    - Using high end measurement equipment to measure energy flows, vehicle performance and fuel consumption (gasoline & electric) of vehicles
    - Develop, adjust and maintenance the measurement equipment (ETAS)
    - Analyzing the recorded data and preparing the measurement results
  • Simulation:
    - Simulating energy flows(gasoline & electric), car performance and CO2-emissions of new concept vehicles in a MatLab/Simulink based environment
    - Adjust and optimize simulation models in relationship with German development departments
    - Validate the simulation results with measurements through the whole development process (concept cars, pre-series and series cars
  • Reporting the results to local and German project teams Connection to different development departments in Germany

Qualifications:

  • Education
    - Degree in mechanical/automotive or electrical engineering
  • Professional competencies
    - Working experience as an engineer in the automotive industry
    - Experience in energy management analyzing and simulating
  • Individual and social competencies
    - Driving license
    - Communicational skills and team work sprit
    - Analytical thoughts and systematically working
    - Traveling regarding testing and coordination with Germany
  • Language Skills 
    - Bilingual (German / Chinese)
