Hockenheim is where the DTM is at home. The season opener and finale of the DTM have been held at the traditional Grand Prix track for years. The excitement is almost physically noticeable in the Motodrom, especially during the first DTM weekend of the year when the drivers and fans eagerly await qualifying. After all the true level of performance is only revealed at this time before every season. „The atmosphere at Hockenheim is always amazing. The fans are really eager to finally see all the cars in action,” says Mattias Ekström excitedly of the trip to Baden.
